- Savanna Dream Safaris, in conjunction with Africa Safari Discovery, agrees to deliver services as described in the customized itinerary and associated contract.
- The safari is not reserved and confirmed until a deposit of 35% of the overall cost of travel is received. Failure to remit the deposit may result in the loss of reservations with no guarantee of reinstatement. Your deposit receipt will also include a statement of balance owed and a deadline for final payment.
- The trip balance is due not later than 60 days prior to arrival. Payment may be made by check, wire transfer or by PayPal (note: an additional 3% is required to cover PayPal processing fees). Non-receipt of the balance at the designated time may result in cancellation of the itinerary and forfeiture of all or part of the deposit. No client will be permitted in the field without receipt of payment in full to Savanna Dream Safaris.
- Any request to amend a booking after confirmation may be accommodated subject to space availability and additional costs. The additional costs will be addressed in a revised invoice.
- If you fail to appear for any accommodation, service or trip segment without notifying Savanna Dream Safaris in advance, or if you leave the safari of your own volition after it has commenced, no refunds will be offered. Neither will refunds be offered for lost travel time, for itineraries amended after departure, or for lost luggage or personal belongings.
- Excursions or other tours that you may choose to book or pay for while you are in Africa are not part of the Savanna Dream Safaris trip itinerary and will not be treated as such.
- We welcome customers who have special needs, but it is essential to contact us with a full description of issues before booking. Not every destination is feasible for everyone, and we must reserve the right to decline a booking if we feel that traveler needs cannot be met.
- It is the traveler’s responsibility (in conjunction with medical experts) to determine the fitness level required to undertake the trip. Savanna Dream Safaris shall not be liable for any illness, injury or death sustained on a safari which is not due to the direct negligence of Savanna Dream Safaris, its officers, employees, authorized representatives or agents.
- The risks of travel associated with an African safari are the sole responsibility of the client. Before you depart for your safari a waiver form must be signed and on file with Savanna Dream Safaris.
- Travel tips, photography tips and packing lists will be forwarded to the client at the time of confirmation.
- In agreeing to these terms, the traveler (or travel group leader) guarantees that he or she holds the authority to accept the provisions for the entire group as stated in the in the itinerary and basic contract.
- Your deposit payment indicates that you are entering into a binding agreement with Savanna Dream Safaris. It further assumes all terms and conditions are fully understood as stated in this document.
